Masonry Stain

Grimes & Sons Masonry Stain is a low VOC, water based stain suitable for use on all stone, masonry, and rendered surfaces. It is designed to match new stone to old, and to match a century of pollution on top. Masonry Stain can be top coated with Grimes & Sons Masonry Preserver if no or slowed weathering is desired. These can be used to add to the weather protection of the stain.

Do not apply in temperatures below 10℃, above 30℃, or when rain is imminent. Coverage is ≈ 10 m²/L, depending on surface porosity and method of  application. Ensure surface is completely dry and free from wax, grease, dust, etc.. Stir thoroughly before and during use. Keep lid closed when not in use. Apply with a clean brush or roller. Apply 2-3 coats in total, depending on the intensity of the colour wanted and how much variation is desired. Allow 4 hours between coats. All tools should be washed with warm, soapy water.
